Call of Duty reinvents itself in the fourth installment of the series. The game abandons its WWII roots and adapts a modern setting. Using real life weapons COD4 aims to take the FPS genre in a bold direct by bringing aesthetics as close to real-life as possible. Using a fictional international-conflict, the game is set in the middle-east and pulls from real life history to create an authentic story.

Supreme Commander


Supreme Commander is focused on using a giant bipedal mech called an Armoured Command Unit (or ACU) to build a base, then upgrading units to reach higher technology tiers, and conquering opponents. The player can command one of three nations: the Aeon Illuminate, the Cybran Nation, or the United Earth Federation.

Enemy Territory Quake Wars


Quake Wars features similar gameplay to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, but with the addition of controllable vehicles and aircraft, asymmetric teams, much larger maps and the option of computer-controlled bots. Unlike the previous Enemy Territory game, Quake Wars is a commercial release rather than a free download.
